Removable prosthodontics

Functional rehabilitation with a high level of comfort.

When fixed prosthetic solutions are not medically indicated or possible, modern removable prosthodontics offers reliable rehabilitation. We approach every denture with particular care, analysing the anatomy of your jaw in detail to ensure maximum stability and confidence when you speak and chew.

Besides classic complete dentures, our practice specialises in skeletal (cast metal) partial dentures. Thanks to their thin yet exceptionally strong cast metal base, skeletal dentures are considerably more comfortable, need far less material over the palate and spread chewing pressure more evenly, which protects the remaining teeth and the jawbone.

Complete dentures

When no teeth remain in the jaw, a complete denture replaces the whole arch. We shape it to follow the anatomy of your jaw and the physiognomy of your face, and the denture teeth are chosen by the shape, shade and size that naturally belong to you.

The denture is taken out daily for cleaning and goes straight back in, so you never have to be without it.

Skeletal dentures with attachments

When healthy teeth remain, we make skeletal partial dentures. The metal framework is mechanically very strong, so the denture is much smaller than a classic one and rests on the teeth, not only on the mucosa.

The denture connects to the remaining teeth by attachments or telescope crowns, precise connectors invisible from the outside. The result is a denture that sits firmly, is quick to get used to, and goes unnoticed when you smile.

Acrylic plate dentures

Acrylic plate dentures serve as a fast and affordable transitional solution, for example while a permanent restoration is being made or when the remaining teeth are not expected to last. Production is simple and takes only a few visits.

Which denture we will choose

The decision depends on how many teeth remain, their condition and their position. At the consultation we go through every possibility, with prices, and usually propose several treatment plans, from a transitional to a permanent solution.

Common questions

Will I be able to eat and speak normally?

Yes. A correctly and precisely made denture allows completely normal function after a short adaptation period.

Do the clasps have to show?

No. On skeletal dentures we replace clasps with attachments or telescope crowns, which are invisible from the outside.

What if I do not want implants?

Dentures and combined restorations are solutions proven over decades that require no surgery. At the consultation we will show you what is realistic in your case and what we propose.
