Oral surgery
Expert, safe and completely painless procedures.
Surgical procedures in the mouth demand a high level of expertise, absolute sterility and a considerate approach to the patient. Our priority is for every procedure to go as comfortably as possible and without stress.
We perform routine as well as complicated surgical extractions, including impacted wisdom teeth. We also perform root-end resections (apicoectomies) to treat cystic lesions and preserve the tooth. Every procedure is carried out under deep local anaesthesia, which guarantees a completely painless experience and the conditions for a quick recovery.

What we do
From routine extractions to surgical removal of wisdom teeth and residual roots, removal of minor mucosal lesions and procedures that prepare the jaw for a denture or an implant.

How we approach it
Before every procedure we analyse the X-ray and explain clearly what the procedure involves and why it is needed. It is performed under local anaesthesia, and afterwards you receive instructions and a check-up appointment. If there is a way to save the tooth, treatment always comes first: extraction is the last option, not the first.
Common questions
Is an extraction painful?
With local anaesthesia the procedure itself is not painful. Some sensitivity afterwards is expected and passes within a few days, with the instructions you receive from us.
Does a wisdom tooth always need to come out?
No. It is removed when it causes real problems: if it is impacted, presses on the neighbouring tooth or cannot be kept clean. The decision is made from the X-ray.
